Women With Purpose offers Bible studies that are also communities where you can be encouraged by like-minded women who are in the workplace. We dive into and discuss God’s word while also taking time to share prayer requests and updates that are sent out each week. Look below to find one that works for you!
Fall Bible Study
Genesis 1-11
Where did everything come from? Why are we here? Why is the world so broken? How can that brokenness be made right?
In its first eleven chapters, the Book of Genesis addresses our deepest questions and gives us the foundation to understanding the Bible as a whole.
Join us as we study the beginning of Genesis this fall! We will finish our study of the book in the winter.
Tuesday Night
Dates: September 8th – November 17th
Time: 7:00-8:30pm
Location: Room 202 at Providence Church, 6339 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh
This group has homework each week to prepare for our discussion. We will be using Jen Wilkin’s study guide, God of Creation. Access to the video teaching by Jen Wilkin is included in the study guide cost. We will not be using the videos when we meet together and they are not required in the homework, but you are welcome to watch them on your own to learn more.
We are providing three different options for the cost of the study guide which will be given to you at the first meeting.
- Pay $28 for a full-priced study guide.
- Pay $15 for a scholarshipped study guide. We do not want cost to be a barrier to participating in this Bible study.
- Pay $38 to purchase a study guide for yourself and contribute $10 to help scholarship someone else’s study guide.
You will see these three options in a drop-down box under “Fee” at registration. Choose the one that works best for you.
Thursday Lunch
Dates: September 17th – November 19th
Time: 12:00-1:00pm
Location: Zoom. The link will be sent to you when you register.
Cost: FREE!
This group covers the same material as the Tuesday Night Bible Study, but no homework is required. Instead, the discussion questions are sent to you on Tuesday mornings.
Captrust
When: Mondays from 12:00-1:00pm
Where: We are meeting at the Captrust office and also via Microsoft Teams. Please contact us if you would like to join this group so we can send you an invitation.
SAS
When: Wednesdays from 12:00-1:00pm
Where: In person in Building R and over MS Teams. Please contact us if you would like to join this group so we can send you the Teams link and room number.
