The Founder
My name is Alison Ingersoll, and I am a Carolina girl who came to know Jesus when I was 16. I have had the blessing and privilege of serving God vocationally ever since I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1987. Most of those years were on staff with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) in a career that covered 5 campuses, travels to 3 continents, and serving as a regional director. For the four years before founding Women with Purpose, my ministry was primarily focused on creating opportunities for business professionals to share the gospel with students in East Asia.
My passion in starting this ministry is to see women surrendered to Christ and following Him by faith, living out His purpose for their lives and being part of His work in their community and the world.
I have been blissfully married to The Man Worth Waiting For since 2009. I love my family, my friends, UNC basketball, college football, chocolate, and Krispy Kreme. In my spare time I enjoy trying to make our acre of yard a little more beautiful.
