The tragic deaths of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, The tragic deaths of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and Ahmaud Arbery last year sparked a national discussion on racism. For many of us, they also brought shock and a lot of questions like:
• How could this happen in our country?
• Didn’t racism end in the 1960’s with the passage of the Civil Rights Act?
• I’m suddenly hearing terms I don’t understand. What does “systemic racism” mean? And “defund the police”?
• What difference can I make in ending racism?

This webinar is a place to get answers to some of your questions as we also think about how we can be a part of Interrupting Racism by being a Christ-like ally in the workplace. Our speaker, Jenille Morgan, is the Assistant Director of the Frank Porter Graham (FPG) Child Development Institute’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of North Carolina. She is also lead of her church’s children’s church ministry.
